The American Academy of Pediatrics has issued guidelines for diagnosing ADHD. Did you know that in order to be diagnosed with ADHD one must present symptoms before the age of 7 years? A child must also meet criteria in more than one setting, at home and at school or daycare.

Research indicates that people who suffer from ADHD are best treated with a combination of Behavioral Counseling, Medication and Social Skills Training.
